Jon Hamm Really Wants To Be In A Superhero Movie, Has Pitched An Idea To Marvel

Veteran actor Jon Hamm has said he continues to pursue a role in a superhero movie, and he’s even pitched Marvel on an idea. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Hamm said he’s a “comic book nerd” and came to the meeting prepared to sell an idea and himself as the actor to play the part.

“I’ve pitched myself for a couple parts of the Marvel universe, I don’t want to say what exactly, but it was a part of a comic book that I really liked,” he said. “I was like, ‘Are you going to do this story?’ And they were like, ‘Yeah, we’re actually thinking of that.’ I go, ‘Good. I should be the guy.’ So maybe it’ll work out.”
